EdZone is a trusted networking app that organizes parents by their children’s school and grade. Edzone will automatically connect parents to other parents within their child(ren)’s school(s).
The purpose of the app is to allow parents to more easily connect with other parents to share information related to their child’s current or prospective school.
EdZone will be the go-to hub for parents to best support their children around their academic performance and experience.
EdZone is agnostic to schools. This allows parents, regardless of where their child goes to school, to leverage the app. This benefits parents as many have children in multiple schools or may eventually change schools.
One of the best parts of the app is that parents are in the driver’s seat. They are not dependent on the school to connect with one another and leverage each other as resources.
With an emphasis on security, EdZone has a verification process. Parents will be able to get verified one of three ways.
Unverified users will be very limited to what they can access.
Also, no sensitive information is needed to be made public to the network. If parents want to share private information, they can do so through private messaging 1:1 or through multiple users.
No, the EdZone app is free. The value of the app will be experienced at no cost to members. We want to create a trusted and positive community that truly benefits parents! To achieve this goal, we feel it is important to make the community free of charge. There will be a premium subscription available in 2024 for parents to enjoy with additional benefits.
When you sign up, you are asked to enter your child’s school while also going through a verification process. From there, you will automatically be connected with other parents.
EdZone is developed by top notch developer (Jafton Software) who has strict security protocols. Jafton is behind Schein, Jokr and many successful and trusted companies. Also, do know that Apple and Google have strict protocols that they vet before an app can be published.
Like any other app, you will be asked to sign up with an existing sign on (e.g. Facebook) or through an approved method. Once you create an account, you are asked to enter child’s school and name (nothing more on child), and parents’ basic demographics (by choice). Any data asked is to benefit parents; in particular, information helps parents who are looking to make decisions on which school to enroll. Most personal information can be skipped but may limit the information once can then access so the integrity of the app is kept whole.
